In 1923, Rocky Marciano was born in Massachusetts. When he was 17 years old, he was in the army. 　One day, a man teased Marciano about being Italian. Marciano knocked the man down and it is the beginning of his boxing life.　 His boxing was rough.

    In 1949, Marciano knocked Karmain Vingo down at the sixth round. At that time, Vingo has been come for two weeks. 　Then, people called Marciano “a killer”. He fought forty nine games and won all of them. He has never lost any games.

    He retired in 1956. 　Everyone tried to change his mind but anybody could not. Thirteen years later, he was killed in a plane accident. 　Rocky Marciano is the model of “Rocky”, which is a very famous movie.
