I was born in Shimizu, Shizuoka. I am a Rakugo-ka. I am a host of Shoten, the TV show. I began Rakugo when I was in a university. I also act in TV dramas and movies.　I am interested in Japanese history. Espeially I like visiting old castle ruins in Japan. I was happy when I played the role of Imagawa Yoshimoto in a TV drama.
