I was born in 1967 in Okabe. I started playing soccer when I was in elementary school. When I was in high school, I took part in a national soccer tournament. After I graduated from university in 1990, I joined Jubilo Iwata. I was a member of the national soccer team. I scored a goal at the World Cup in France in 1998.　That was the first goal that Japan scored in the World Cup.　My nickname is Gon.
