Once upon a time, there was a young man who was good at whistling. He always whistled when he felt happy. He had no family. His parents had been dead several years before. Before his mother died, she gave an expensive silver cup to him. He treated the cup so carefully. He wanted to be a sailor, but he had no ship.
    One day, a big ship came to his village. He asked the captain to take him with.

　　“Have you ever worked as a sailor?”

　　“No, I have not. I have never even got on a ship, but if you tell me how to work, I’ll do my best.”

When the captain was about to turn down his offer, he found out that the young man had the expensive cup. “You have a nice silver cup. If you give it to me, you can work on the ship.” The young man thought about it carefully. It’s hard for him to give away his treasure to the captain. At last he gave it because he really wants to be a sailor.

　　“OK, from now, you’re a sailor.” The captain said. The young man whistled.

    A beautiful woman was walking along the beach with her dog. Suddenly the dog started to run.

　　“What happened, John?”
She followed the dog. John stopped and barked at something. She found the young man.　She asked him, but he didn’t answer. She looked around. There was nobody. She picked up the cup and ran to her village. After a while, she came back with the cup of water and made him drink water, but he didn’t wake up. She repeated that many times.

    When he woke up, both the beautiful woman and the dog were not there. He didn’t have the silver cup. There were just many footprints left. He stood up and began to walk.   He whistled to the blue sky.
