There are many wonderful cities in various places of Japan. However, I like NaganoCity the best. So, I will tell you many things about Nagano City.

    First, I will tell you about the climate of Nagano. Mountains surround NaganoCity all around. So the summer is very hot and the winter is very cold. Through these changes between hot and cold, however, we are able to feel a sign that the seasons are changing. Besides, there are a lot of places where we can ski and snow board. In Winter, so many people visit Nagano to enjoy skiing and snowboarding. I also like skiing , so I’m always looking forward to winter's coming. Furthermore, in Spring, the places to ski turn to those of Sansai. Sansai are the delicious plants; for example, Wasabi, Taranome, Kogomi and so on.

    Second, I will tell you about the Nagano Olympics. They were held in 1998. Many, many people came to Nagano, and they enjoyed the games. Although the Olympics ended, some buildings have been used in all kinds of events; for instance; concerts, markets and some sporting events.

    Last, I will tell you about some of the local foods in Nagano. They are Soba and Oyaki. They are good for one’s health in addition to being nice and tasty. Soba is a buckwheat noodle. People in Nagano often eat it with sansai, long potatoes, and sesame. Oyaki is a very traditional food. It also uses some vegetables.

    As mentioned above, NaganoCity is a good place to enjoy playing and eating. I like it best, and I am sure that you will like Nagano, too.
